Fasting to Help Lose Weight Easily

I wanted to talk to you about fasting to help lose weight. There are a lot of diets out there and I like to think of all of them as fads. The reality is that if you can't do something for the long-term than you're not going to get anyway. Fasting isn't a long-term solution, but if you do it intermittently, you can do it.

A problem I have with diets is that I can't have the foods I like. You're restricted to only the healthy food and you really can't sustain that forever. Fasting intermittently allows you to keep these foods because you'll still be fasting to make up the difference. I'm going to talk to you about fasting to help lose weight.

The structure of this diet is really quite simple. All you have is a 24 hour period where you can eat and a 24 hour period where you can fast. During your eating time you can eat whatever you want and as much as you want. It doesn't have to be healthy. It can be the same fattening foods that you've been eating for years. Studies have monitored this eating pattern and have found that people do eat about the same amount of calories on average and still lose weight.

Fasting to help lose weight can be a natural approach. You really have to challenge yourself because 3 meals a day isn't exactly natural. Humans used to hunt to eat. Some day's food would be caught and you'd eat. Other days there would be nothing caught and you'd have to go without. It seems highly likely that our bodies would be designed to eat like this.
