Lose Weight Without Going Hungry
If you're overweight and having problems keeping up with your diet regimen, you're one of many people fighting the same battle. You and millions of other people are probably forced by your diet to abstain from food you used to enjoy, such as chocolate, ice cream, milkshakes... is there really a way to lose weight without having to go hungry?
Everyone is different, and your metabolism may not be the same as other peoples'. Some people metabolize calories very quickly, while others have very slow metabolisms. In order for you to accelerate your metabolism, it's a good idea to eat frequent, smaller meals instead of the usual three big meals a day.
Your metabolism gets a boost whenever you eat something, so eating smaller meals scattered throughout your day will keep your metabolism up and burn more calories in a day. You'll basically be eating the usual amount of food in a day, so you won't go hungry.
Hunger pangs? Foods rich in protein, such as tuna, salmon, sardines and mackerel, make good snacks to curb those cravings.
Stay away from foods rich in refined sugar, such as white bread and other starches. These foods increase your calorie storage, which would turn into stored fat if you don't exercise regularly.
Stick to your diet regimen for six days, but give yourself a break on the seventh day. You can eat whatever you like on this day, but keep it in moderation.
Don't forget, though, that exercise is also a requirement in any weight loss regimen - diets won't work without exercise. It's good if you start exercising regularly every morning. Fifteen minutes of walking or jogging can burn excess calories little by little. Heading to work? Walk the last few blocks to your office. Use the stairs instead of the elevator. All these little exercises can add up to a workout at the end of the day.
